Went to eat here with my family of 6 after a week vacation! After leaving the airport this was a PERFECT, way to start our morning. Fresh and delicious food, great service, and great portion sizes. Definitely adds that Mom&Pop feel that will have you returning, and having a good experience as you dine! Best omelette EVER!

This restaurant in Whiting, IN is a hidden gem. I ordered an egg special with bacon, hashbrowns and pancakes. It's a basic breakfast but a really good meal. My husband got the Melting Pot skillet which comes with ham, bacon and sausage and a side of pancakes. We both got a drink and the bill was only 23!!! Unbelievable price!! We usually pay at least 40 for the two of us.

The height of Covid when all businesses were closed in chicago.. this little hidden food oasis kept their doors open.. and as a result..became my favorite breakfast restaurant almost weekly.. I’ve never had a bad experience.. they don’t miss.. thanks guys for your hospitality and great comfort food

Every time we go to the sunrise. Always with a smile and they have great breakfast, I love my veggies skillets. But to name a few Italian and Greek and so much more.

Whiting's best kept secret for any meal. I ordered a skillet with poached eggs... it did not disappoint. Will definitely come back!

We were looking for a good breakfast before hitting the road back, and came across this restaurant. Absolutely delicious - everyone ordered the skillet with different side options (pancakes, waffles, fruit). Completely satisfied and the staff was incredibly efficient and friendly. Hope to come back on our next trip to Chicago!
